State of NY rules Defense of Marriage Act Unconstitutional

Another newsbreaking notification goes to my iPhone... while I'm at the office.

Anyways... let's get back on subject.

So: Breaking News. CNN Reports that the state of New York rules that the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional. Former Pres. Clinton signed the bill proposed by Congress in 1996, denying the benefits acquired during heterosexual marriages from same-sex couples.

Currently, only twelve states recognize same-sex unions or marriage of some kind, which is a mere 24% of state representation of the nation toward human equality amongst the gay community.
